Find RV hookups near me: this tool lists the federal campgrounds near you that have electric hookups, nearest first. Choose how far you are willing to drive, and each result shows how many of its campsites have electric and water hookups. It also shows the longest RV the campground lists and whether its sites can be reserved.
The tool runs in your browser, so nothing you type is sent anywhere. A shared location stays on your device. It is free and needs no sign-up.
The data covers federal campgrounds only, such as those run by the National Park Service. It does not include private RV parks or state parks. Use the results to shortlist campsites with electricity near you, then check each official page before you travel.

How to use the campgrounds with hookups tool
- Click “Use my location” to share your position with this device only. Or click “Enter coordinates instead”, type your latitude and longitude, and click “Use these coordinates”.
- Open “Within” and pick a distance: 10, 25, 50, 100, or 200 miles. The default is 50.
- Optional: open “State” and choose one state.
- Open the RV length list and choose “Any”, “25 ft or longer”, “30 ft or longer”, “35 ft or longer”, or “40 ft or longer”.
- Leave “Electric hookups” ticked. It is ticked by default and keeps only campgrounds with electric sites.
- Tick “Water hookups”, “Reservable”, or “Pets allowed” only if you need them.
- Open “Sort by” and choose “Nearest first, then most electric sites” or “Most electric sites first”.
- Review each result. Select “Recreation.gov page” for the official listing, or “Map” to see the location.
The count line shows how many campgrounds match. The list on screen is capped, but “Download CSV” saves every match. The page address also records your state and RV length, for example ?s=Wyoming&minRv=30, so you can return to the same search.
Without a location, choosing a state lists every campground in it that has electric sites. The state table on the first screen works the same way: select a state name to open its list.
Where are full hookup RV campgrounds near me?
This tool lists federal campgrounds that have electric hookups, and it shows water hookups as well. It cannot confirm full hookups, because full hookups normally include sewer, and the data has no sewer field.
The data comes from the federal campground listings behind Recreation.gov. It holds 4,834 federal campgrounds, harvested on 2026-08-22. Of those, 890 list at least one electric campsite. The tool searches those 890.
Some states have far more electric campgrounds than others. Arkansas has 95 campgrounds with electric sites, out of 118 in the data. California has 35 out of 690. Horseshoe Bend at Beaver Lake, Arkansas, lists 184 electric sites and RVs up to 53 ft. Colter Bay RV Park in Grand Teton National Park lists 112 sites, all 112 electric and 111 with water, for RVs up to 45 ft. Colter Bay Tent Village in the same data lists no electric sites.
Results are sorted by distance, rounded to 0.1 mile. Ties are broken by the number of electric sites. Distances are straight-line, so they are not driving routes.
Does the tool show sewer hookups?
No. The federal data lists electric and water hookups for each campsite, but it does not list sewer hookups. The data also has counts only, so it does not show hookup type or amperage. For those details, select “Recreation.gov page” in each result and check the official listing.
What do “electric” and “water” counts mean?
Each count is the number of campsites in that campground that the agency lists with that hookup. A campground with “40 electric · 12 water” has 40 sites with an electric hookup and 12 with a water hookup; some sites may have both. The counts come from the campsite records in the Recreation Information Database, harvested on 2026-08-22, so a campground that added or removed hookups since then may differ. When the count matters, open the “Recreation.gov page” and check the site list, which also shows each site’s own vehicle length.
Frequently asked questions
Are these private RV parks?
No. The tool searches federal campgrounds only. It does not include private RV parks or state parks.
Are there free sites?
The data has no prices or fee information. Check the “Recreation.gov page” for each campground to see the published fees for the date you check, since fees can change.
Which states have the most electric campgrounds?
The first screen shows a table titled “Federal campgrounds with at least one electric campsite, by state.” It is sorted by “With electric sites.” Arkansas is at the top with 95. Click a state to open its results.
How do I find sites for a 40 ft RV?
Open the RV length list and choose “40 ft or longer.” The filter keeps campgrounds with at least one site that lists a vehicle length of 40 ft or more. Campgrounds without length data are removed by this filter.
Are the distances driving distances?
No. Distances are straight-line, so the actual drive can be longer, especially on mountain or rural roads.
Can I get the full list of matches?
Yes. Click “Download CSV” to save every campground that matches your settings. The on-screen list is capped, but the CSV includes all matches.
Do RV hookups cost extra?
The data has no prices, so the tool cannot say. Many campgrounds price electric sites differently from other sites; the Recreation.gov page for each campground shows the fee for each site.
